Резюме

Residents of the Luhansk People's Republic, being in a depressed social and economic environment of life, experience a high level of stress. Therefore, the problem of mental health in modern conditions is very relevant. Of great importance is the behavior aimed at preserving health, one of the directions of which is regular physical activity. Taking into account the mentioned above, it has become relevant to conduct research work on this topic. A survey of 1,038 adult residents (510 persons with various deviations in men¬tal states against the background of constantly acting traumatic factors and 528 mentally healthy residents) was conducted on volun¬tary conditions. The specific weight of subjects was calculated depending on the appropriate answers to questions related to physical activity. The Student and Pearson criteria (chi-square method) were used for statistical data processing. It was summarized that sub¬jects with different deviations in mental states are characterized by a lower level of physical activity in comparison with mentally healthy controls group. Preventive measures are proposed.
