Резюме

Distress syndrome acts as a trigger for the development of intrapleural complications, which may aggravate the course of the disease and in some cases cause a lethal outcome in patients with COVID-19 associated pneumonia. Two cases of spontaneous pneumomediastinum, spontaneous pneumopericardium, spontaneous pneumothorax and subcutaneous emphysema were analyzed. Severe diffuse alveolar damage associated with the new coronavirus infec- tion has been found to play the leading role in the development of pleural complications.
