For the purpose of integral assessment of the pro – and antioxidant effects of 11-deoxymizorostol in vivo with its daily intragastric administration in three doses, the levels of products of lipid peroxidation and oxidative modification of proteins in the liver were determined. A transient increase in lipid peroxidation was observed on the first and third days of administration of 11-deoxyimisoprostol in the studied doses; on the seventh day, the level of lipid peroxidation products did not statistically significantly differ from the corresponding values of the control group. Strengthening of free radical processes in the liver during the course of administration of the study drug may be a reflection of the activation of enzyme systems of biotransformation of xenobiotics and antioxidant protection.
