In this article, the authors carried out a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the use of single-component and two-component therapeutic pads containing calcium hydroxide in the treatment of primary hyperemia of the pulp (with- out subjective sensations and with expressed complaints) and chronic fibrous pulpitis (with a point of communication and without opening the pulp chamber). As a result, conclusions about indications for the use of one – and two- component materials depending on the clinical situation are made and practical recommendations to dentists are given.
