The role of immune dysfunction in the pathogenesis of subacute inflammation is discussed. Clinical and immunological studies of 83 patients with atypical phlegmons of the maxillofacial region were carried out. The efficiency of immunomodulator polyoxidony in the complex treatment of subacute purulent phlegmons of the head and neck region were established.
