A patient with epithelial swelling in the lower jaw was treated by scraping. To avoid a relapse, we performed intraosseuos irrigation with 0,03 % sodium hypochloride solution before closing the wound using an appliance of our own design. The follow-up period lasted for 4 years; the outcome was favorable.
